Setting up a menu for Pixel Media Blogger is easy enough as it’s built into the theme. All you need to do is start making pages. However, you may notice that WordPress organizes the pages in alphabetical order and some may not like this so I made the menu so that you an change the order of how your menu looks in the front-end of your site.

Ordering Your Pages

I recommend you plan out your pages on paper first and then order them from (starting with 0) 0,1, 2, 3, 4, etc. before you start creating them in the admin. Once you’ve done this, you can start adding pages to your site by clicking “Add New” under the Page section of your admin, but before you move on to the next one, do your page ordering right there. If you do not know how or where to do this, you can see the screenshot below:

wp-pageorderingAfter you have done this for each and every page you make, you can now go to the front of your site to see your new menu structure. If for any reason one is out of place, re-check your page ordering and make sure they are numbered in the sequence of 0, 1, 2, 3, etc.

For Sub or nested pages, you will also want to consider the ordering on these as well. When creating sub pages, you just add them to the “Parent” page with the Attributes just above the page ordering setting. This will create sub-menus on your parent menus.
