If you use Google Analytics, the Zen Theme let’s you add your own code to your web site page. Basically you add your code and when someone visits your web site page, the code is loaded in the appropriate place (just before the closing </body> tag in your source code:

Setup Your Code

  1. Go to your Zen Theme settings and scroll down to the Miscellaneous Settings
  2. Paste your Google Analytics code into the Google field you see there:

  3. Click Save Changes

To make sure this was done correctly, view your web site and look at the source code to see if it went in ok. Also check to ensure it’s all there as it is with the original code. You may also want to check your statistics for a few days to see if it’s recording stats. If not, you may need to add your code manually into the theme’s footer.php file.
